The position
As Sales Director, Europe & Africa you will be a key member of the Biamp organization and will take ownership of the sales results in your regions.
The most important tasks and responsibilities are:
- Establish, evaluate and align sales target, performance and budgets across the different regions, channels and individuals.
- Recruit, manage and coach Regional Sales Managers and sales team members and conduct pipeline review, performance review, KPI follow-ups etc.
- Be an active part of the European Leadership Team and collaborate across regions, departments and externally with key channel partners, integrators and distributors.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity as well as other market dynamics and utilize it to identify new business opportunities.
- Participate in industry trade show events and regional channel partner events as well as supporting the sales organization in processes and negotiations with key clients and partners.
The job requirements
- BS, BA or equivalent experience.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required.
- Strong passion for developing sales team members to expand their skills and realize their full potential as salespeople and ultimately leaders.
- Player-coach mindset implementing a “hands-on” approach in supporting sales team members in the execution of their sales strategy and overcoming obstacles and objections.
- Has a high degree of proficiency in computational skills (e.g., Office365), CRM, sales analytics, sales pipeline management, sales process management.
- Experience in the AV industry is highly desired.
- Travel expected 60%-75% of the time.
- Location UK, Belgium or Denmark preferred, but alternatively near a major European Hub.
