Director, Marketing & eCommerce (Job Number: EUR015QC)

Work Locations

Hilton - Regional Headquarters - Europe Maple Court, Central Park, Reeds Crescent Watford WD24 4QQ

About the role

A key member of the RMEC leadership team, this role is critical for providing the operational structure and strategic consultation necessary to scale digital commerce and marketing excellence across the EMEA region.

As Director of Marketing & eCommerce Consulting for EMEA, you will lead the strategic development and execution of integrated marketing and digital commerce initiatives across Hilton’s regional portfolio. You serve as a key liaison between global brand teams, regional stakeholders, and property-level operations and commercial teams, ensuring alignment with commercial goals and brand standards.

You will become an ambassador for driving hotel performance by enabling hotels with selected commercial tools, programmes, and trainings. Your role is pivotal in driving digital performance, optimising internal Regional Marketing operations, and fostering innovation through data-driven insights and cross-functional collaboration. You will work alongside the Senior Director to bring to life the team vision, identity, and culture through robust orchestration of core engagement initiatives and service frameworks.

What Will I be doing?

The Director will support and report into the Senior Director of Regional Marketing EMEA. This pivotal leadership role is responsible for the strategic development of Marketing & eCommerce Consulting programmes and initiatives, specifically aimed at supporting and driving digital bookings on Hilton brand platforms across EMEA.

The successful candidate will also be accountable for EMEA Regional Marketing operations, process governance, and capability projects. You will support the Senior Director in defining the end-to-end Regional Marketing operating model across EMEA, ensuring clarity of roles, consistent execution, and efficient collaboration across teams and hotels. This includes governing core processes, establishing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and prioritisation frameworks, and driving continuous improvements that enhance speed, quality, and consistency of delivery.

Alongside the Senior Director, you will oversee capability development to deliver the EMEA RMEC (Regional Marketing & eCommerce) team's vision, identity, and culture. This involves creating a robust calendar of initiatives and engagements that focus on elevating skills in digital marketing, eCommerce, data interpretation, and emerging technologies, while fostering a culture of learning and cross-regional knowledge sharing. You will provide strong leadership, shaping team rhythms, promoting accountability and high performance, and supporting the development of a clear, empowered, and future‑ready regional marketing and eCommerce community.

As a key member of the RMEC leadership team, the Director will orchestrate the operational rhythm of the Regional Marketing function. This is supported through the planning and delivery of team meetings, strategic calendars, performance cycles, and key milestones. You will manage cross‑functional inputs and produce high‑quality materials to support leadership decision‑making, develop ways of working, operating models, and yearly performance objectives to drive clarity and effectiveness across the team. You will also oversee team learning and development initiatives and manage capability projects on behalf of the RMEC organisation, ensuring seamless coordination and execution across the function.

This role is responsible for translating Hilton’s EMEA Marketing and eCommerce strategy into operational excellence and commercial results. Reporting to the Senior Director, you will support EMEA digital performance across the region by defining the design and governance of the RMEC Operating Model, ensuring integrated execution, process clarity, and a high-performance team culture.

Core responsibilities
Operational Excellence & Service Governance
  • Partner with the Senior Director to design, implement, and govern the end-to-end RMEC operating model, ensuring clarity of roles, decision rights, and efficient collaboration across all regional teams.
  • Establish, govern, and continuously improve core operational processes, including launch readiness, prioritisation frameworks, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), to enhance delivery speed, quality, and consistency.
  • Orchestrate the RMEC operational cadence, including managing strategic calendars, performance reporting cycles, and coordinating team meetings and key milestones to support efficient leadership decision‑making and distribution of updates.
Strategic Planning & Commercial Growth
  • Define and execute regional marketing strategies that are tightly aligned with global priorities.
  • Drive hotel commercial performance by acting as a strategic consultant, ensuring effective adoption of selected commercial tools, programmes, and best practices across the property‑level network.
  • Foster innovation and drive performance optimisation using data‑driven insights and cross‑functional collaboration, with an eye towards leveraging emerging technologies and developing Data, Insights, and AI capabilities.
Data‑Driven Decision Making
  • Leverage analytics and performance insights to optimise hotel digital presence.
  • Accelerate customer acquisition through targeted, insight‑led initiatives.
  • Design and oversee delivery of scalable marketing programmes and resources.
  • Enable hotel teams to execute effectively and consistently at scale.
  • Lead a diverse team of 20+ across multiple international offices.
  • Embed inclusive hiring, robust development, and strong retention practices.
Digital Capability Enablement
  • Oversee regional rollout of global digital solutions.
  • Adapt tools to local market needs, driving efficiency and revenue impact.
Global Stakeholder Relationships
  • Manage complex cross‑regional relationships across EMEA, Americas, and APAC.
  • Foster alignment, mutual value creation, and streamlined execution.
Direct Reports
  • 6 Senior Managers across two offices.
What are we looking for?

The success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:

  • Strategic Leadership - Proven track record of shaping and executing regional marketing strategies that align with global priorities and deliver measurable commercial impact. Ability to translate complex business objectives into scalable, actionable marketing programmes across diverse markets.
