An award-winning and highly regarded law firm in Basingstoke is seeking a dedicated and client-focused Paralegal or Legal Executive to join its expanding Wills, Trusts & Probate team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in private client work to develop their career in a supportive, collaborative, and forward-thinking environment.

You will play a key role in supporting the team with probate and estate administration matters, while also taking on your own small caseload. This position offers a fantastic mix of hands-on legal work and client interaction, making it ideal for someone who enjoys building trusted relationships and delivering practical, compassionate advice.

1. Acting as a point of contact for clients, taking instructions on probate and estate administration matters
2. Managing a small caseload of probate and estate files under supervision
3. Assisting with the progression of probate cases within the team
4. Registering trusts on HMRC’s Trust Registration Service
5. Ensuring compliance and supporting the wider team in delivering an efficient, high-quality service

1. Previous experience in a Wills, Trusts, and Probate team is essential
2. CILEX qualification is preferred but not essential
3. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
5. A client-focused approach with a sensitive and professional manner
6. Confident using legal case management systems and Microsoft Office
