What’s it all about?

Visa Consulting and Analytics (VC&A) drives tangible, impactful and financial results for Visa’s network clients, including both financial services and merchants. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, data analytics, brand management, marketing, operational and macroeconomics, Visa Consulting and Analytics solves the most strategic problems for our clients.

The France & Belux Consulting Practice within VC&A provides consulting and solution services for Visa’s issuers, acquirers, and merchants in France, Belgium, and Luxembourg. We apply our deep expertise in the payments industry to provide solutions to assist clients with their key business priorities, drive growth, and improve profitability.

The team is looking for a Consultant to join our strategic consulting practice and play a role in developing high impact projects for Visa’s clients in the region. This role involves delivering and implementing projects and solutions and will develop initiatives to promote sustainable and profitable growth, thereby ensuring that Visa is both the preferred brand and unique business partner.

What we expect of you, day to day.

1. Be part of the team delivering consulting initiatives and contribute to closing engagement by identifying potential opportunities with large banks and financial institutions.
2. Identify solutions and actionable insights that will help clients to grow their portfolios.
3. Partner with peers in other functional areas (e.g., sales and solutions, marketing, risk, innovation, products) and across global regional teams to execute projects in ways that leverage the breadth and depth of Visa’s resources.
4. Produce insights, analyses, and recommendations to improve client performance, boost growth, drive understanding of client issues, and provide strategic guidance for client priorities across the verticals and segments.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

What we’re after…

1. Previous experience at a large management consulting firm or similar role at Banks-FIs, with proven project deliveries and expertise in consulting methodologies.
2. Experience working with financial indicators to measure business performance with a focus on impacting ROI and excellent analytical skills, with the ability to use data to convey a clear message to clients and the business.
3. Ability to solve business problems through data-driven methodologies and proficiency in some leading-edge analytic and business intelligence tools.
4. Technology mindset, curious, up-to-date with digital trends and applications.
5. Project experience in a digital and technology-driven environment.
6. High intellectual capability evidenced by strong analytical skills.
7. Excellent spoken and written command of French and English.
8. Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal) including an ability to comprehend and convey complex technical information.
9. Strong business acumen and business analysis skills (research and analyze market and client information to tell a story).
10. Self-motivated, results-oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently.
11. High levels of integrity and business ethics.
12. Willingness to travel where required.
13. Willingness to maintain professional development.
