Job Description: Project Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Planning Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 - 8 years of hands-on experience in Project Planning & Execution within an ASME Certified Heat Exchanger & Pressure Vessel Manufacturing company. As a crucial member of our team, the Project Planning Engineer will play a vital role in ensuring the successful completion of projects within specified timelines and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain detailed manufacturing schedules using MS Projects software.
2. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely submission of design, quality, and related documents.
3. Facilitate communication and follow-up with clients to obtain necessary approvals and feedback.
4. Monitor and track material procurement status to ensure availability for fabrication.
5. Oversee fabrication processes and track progress to ensure adherence to project timelines.
6. Conduct resource planning to allocate manpower and equipment efficiently.
7. Generate weekly and monthly progress reports to update stakeholders on project status.
8. Proactively identify and address any delays or obstacles, highlighting delays from the client's side and proposing solutions.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Planning & Execution in an ASME Certified Heat Exchanger & Pressure Vessel Manufacturing company.
3. Proficiency in MS Projects software with proven training or certification.
4. Strong working knowledge of procurement & fabrication processes.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
7. Skill in prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently to meet deadlines.
8. Commitment to maintaining accuracy and precision in project planning and execution.
