Project Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support and manage the execution of high-rise building projects, ensuring that they meet design specifications, quality standards, and project timelines. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the execution of high-rise construction projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality requirements, and project timelines.
• Manage day-to-day project activities, including contractor coordination, resource allocation, and workforce management.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring that all milestones are achieved.
• Ensure compliance with UAE construction laws, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Work closely with the Construction Manager to lead and coordinate on-site teams, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Assist in monitoring procurement, material inventory, and logistics to prevent shortages and delays.
• Assist in identifying potential project risks and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
• Prepare and maintain regular project progress reports, tracking key milestones and deliverables.
• Collaborate with architects, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve project issues effectively and in a timely manner.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering; a Masters degree is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Engineer on high-rise building projects in the UAE or GCC region.
• Familiarity with UAE construction regulations, safety codes, and permitting processes.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and AutoCAD.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse teams, stakeholders, and subcontractors.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage).
