Job Description

As the Site Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall logistics and supply chain operations on our site. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong communication and leadership skills to effectively manage our logistics team and maintain smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure all materials and equipment are delivered to the site in a timely and cost-effective manner.
2. Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of all materials and equipment on site, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
3. Monitor and manage inventory levels to avoid stock shortages and oversupply.
4. Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any supply chain issues.
5. Manage transportation and freight schedules to optimize costs and timelines.
6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines for handling and storing hazardous materials.
7. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and negotiate pricing and terms to achieve cost savings.
8. Manage and coach logistics team to ensure they are meeting performance expectations.
9. Create and maintain reports to track logistics and supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.
10. Continuously identify and implement process improvements to streamline logistics operations.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or related field.
2. 3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably within a construction or industrial setting.
3. Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and procedures.
4. Proven track record of managing a team and driving performance.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
7. Proficiency in logistics and supply chain software and tools.
8. Knowledge of safety regulations and guidelines for handling hazardous materials.
9. Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors.
10. Detail-oriented and analytical mindset.
11. Flexibility to work outside regular business hours if needed.
