We are seeking an experienced and passionate Kindergarten Teacher (ADEK Approved) for a reputable school in Al Ain. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating lesson plans while creating an engaging and nurturing environment for young learners. This role requires patience, creativity, and the ability to foster a positive and supportive atmosphere in which children can thrive both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:Develop and Implement Teaching Plans: Design comprehensive teaching plans that cater to the developmental needs of young children, ensuring that lessons are both educational and engaging.
Teach Foundational Skills: Teach essential early childhood skills such as the alphabet, numeracy, and social-emotional development, fostering a love of learning in children.
Organize Learning Materials: Utilize and organize learning materials, ensuring they are age-appropriate, accessible, and effective in enhancing the children's learning experiences.
Incorporate Diverse Teaching Methods: Use a variety of instructional strategies including songs, stories, media, structured games, art, and outdoor activities to engage children and cater to different learning styles.
Parent Communication: Maintain open and constructive communication with parents, providing updates on their child's progress, behavior, and development.
Assess and Track Progress: Regularly assess student performance and development, identifying areas for improvement and adjusting teaching methods accordingly.
Guide Social Development: Observe and guide children's social interactions, promoting cooperation, sharing, and positive behavior in the classroom.
Collaboration: Work closely with other teachers, administrative staff, and the school community to create a supportive learning environment.
Safety and Standards: Ensure adherence to teaching standards, safety regulations, and best practices in the classroom.
Experience: Proven 3 years experience as a Kindergarten Teacher, Kindergarten Assistant, or Teacher Aide with hands-on experience working with young children.
IELTS 6.5 Required
ADEK Approval: ADEK Approval or appointment letter (preferred).
Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant teaching license/certificate.
Child Development Knowledge: Strong understanding of child development and current educational theories and practices.
Creativity & Artistic Skills: Ability to create and implement creative, artistic, and hands-on activities that engage young learners.
Patience & Adaptability: Patience and flexibility in handling the diverse needs and personalities of young children.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with both children and parents.
Continuous Learning: Willingness to stay updated with the latest trends, educational methods, and best practices in early childhood education.
Language: Proficiency in English. Knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
Nationality: Indian, Pakistani, and Filipino candidates preferred.
