EARLY YEARS / KG TEACHERS NEEDED ACROSS THE UAE
Female only due to UAE regulations.

The government of the United Arab Emirates seeks qualified teachers to work in schools across the Emirates.

School Description and Important Considerations:

1. State schools across the UAE
2. Curriculum: UAE national curriculum
3. Language of Instruction for subjects taught by foreign teachers: English
4. School week: Monday to Friday lunchtime
5. School year: Starts in August and lasts 186-188 days
6. Start dates for teachers: There is a rolling intake throughout the year, with an emphasis on January and August starters.
7. These are teaching positions working with local UAE students in government/public schools delivering the UAE curriculum for your age range or subject.
8. You will need to be prepared to teach anywhere in the UAE - you will not know your location until you arrive.
9. Majority of schools are run by Local Emirati principals.
10. Cultural sensitivity is required as well as strong behaviour management skills.

Benefits:

1. Salary of 16,000-21,000 AED per month (US$4300-5700 per month), tax-free. The salary is based on the number of years of experience, teaching qualifications, and highest degree obtained.
2. Flight at the beginning and end of a two-year renewable contract.
3. Health insurance (UAE wide) - for the employee.
4. Note: the salary is inclusive of housing allowance and dependent benefits are not provided.

Required:

1. Relevant Bachelor's Degree (Early Childhood Education) or a Bachelor Degree in Maths/English/Science/ICT/Biology/Chemistry/Physics with an Early Childhood diploma.
2. GPA equivalent to ‘very good’ (e.g., 3.0+).
3. Possess excellent knowledge of the subject matter.
4. 2 years of full-time teaching experience.
5. The candidate should not exceed the age of 45 years (at the time of signing the contract) due to UAE government visa requirements.

Desirable:

1. Relevant Master's Degree/PhD.
2. Experience with second language learners.

IELTS certificate for non-native English speakers at application for Kindergarten, Primary s. English teachers must be 7 Academic/7.5 General. All others 6 Academic/6.5 General.

Interview and Recruitment Process will include an online assessment and a virtual interview including a short lesson demonstration.
