Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Female English Teacher (ADEK Approved/ Preferably with UAE experience and complete/attested documents) for a reputable school in Al Ain. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the English language, a passion for teaching, and experience in delivering high-quality lessons that engage and inspire students. This role involves teaching students from Cycle 1 and 2 in a specific curriculum (e.g. British, American, IB) and providing them with the tools to improve their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. The English Teacher will foster a supportive learning environment that encourages academic growth and personal development.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Bachelor's degree in Education Specialization OR Teaching Diploma ADEK Bachelor's degree
• ILETS band score of 7 required.
• Minimum of 2 years Experience in UAE (American Curriculum)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver Lessons: Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in English catering to students' varying abilities.
• Curriculum Implementation: Follow and contribute to the development of the school's English curriculum.
• Student Progress: Assess and monitor students' progress through regular testing, assignments, and classroom observations.
• Lesson Planning: Develop creative and engaging lesson plans that focus on enhancing the core skills of reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
• Classroom Management: Create a positive, disciplined, and inclusive learning environment.
• Supportive Learning: Identify students' strengths and weaknesses and provide targeted support for those who require additional help.
• Feedback & Communication: Provide constructive feedback to students and maintain regular communication with parents regarding academic performance and behavior.
• Assessments: Design and mark exams, assignments, and projects, and track student progress effectively.
• Collaborative Work: Work closely with other teachers, administrative staff, and the school's leadership team to ensure a well-rounded educational experience.
• Extra-Curricular Activities: Participate in extracurricular activities such as clubs, events, and school initiatives where applicable.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in English Education or a related field (required).
• Teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, CELTA, TESOL, or equivalent) (required).
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in an English language teaching role (preferably in a school setting).
• Strong understanding of language development and pedagogy.
• Excellent English language skills (both verbal and written).
• Familiarity with the curriculum being taught (e.g. British, American, IB) (preferred).
• Classroom management skills and the ability to motivate and engage students.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to cater to a diverse range of learners.
• Organized and capable of managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Creativity and passion for fostering a love of literature and language among students.
