PROFESSIONAL FRENCH LANGUAGE TEACHER POSITION

About the Client
The client (Principal) is a high-profile executive based in Dubai. You would be in charge of instructing the Principal, and from time to time, you may give some lessons to his other family members. You would be a part of a team working for the client.

The Project

• We are looking for 1 French Teacher ready to start working as soon as possible.
• You must have already been working for VIP or private employers in the past. This is a mandatory criterion.
• You should be used to working on private demands and adapting your training courses to specific and individual needs. You must speak, write, and read French fluently, as well as English, since the family speaks English and needs to ensure mutual understanding.
• You are ideally a French native, preferred to share your culture and the French way of life.
• We are looking for someone who is accustomed to working under very high standards and responding to high demands.

This is a permanent position with a 3-month probation period.

You will report directly to the Principal and define your lessons based on the Principal's needs and goals in learning the French language. The Principal has some prior knowledge of French and is used to taking private classes.

The family is looking for an Experienced and Reliable French Teacher to work with them.

You must have significant experience as a French Teacher in the past, both in institutional organizations such as schools or universities AND in a private environment, especially for VIPs. Candidates lacking both experiences will not be accepted for this position.

You should be teaching and explaining to the Principal, who is passionate about French culture and the French language.

You should also be preparing lesson plans and sessions tailored to the varying levels of family members, focusing mainly on the Principal.

In addition, you should motivate the Principal to learn the French language. The challenge is to deliver comprehensive lessons in a private environment. We seek candidates with significant experience in private households, as they understand the need for flexibility and entertainment.

The family is not looking for a standard university class; this is a relaxing leisure activity as opposed to a formal lecture.

To succeed in this job role, you will focus on various assessments, including written and oral exercises.

You should pay extra attention to family members with different capabilities, as you may be required to assist them from time to time. Further details will be defined during your interview with the Principal.

Performing various administrative tasks as necessary is mandatory for this position.

As a French teacher, you should possess an excellent ability to communicate in both French and English. We expect candidates who can write, read, and speak English without grammatical mistakes.

You should have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage tasks based on priorities.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and planning French teaching strategies.
• Implementing teaching lessons according to each member's level, especially the Principal.
• Explaining to the Principal in the French language.
• Developing teaching materials and aids.
• Performing administrative tasks if needed.
• Paying extra attention to struggling family members.
• Preparing assessments like exercises, examinations, and tests.
• Ensuring family members pronounce French words correctly.
• Conducting innovative sessions for the Principal/family.
• Communicating with the Principal/family in French.
• Preparing lessons as per the educational curriculum and adapting it to the needs of the Principal/family, especially the Principal.
• Taking feedback from the Principal/family.
• Organizing fun activities and events to facilitate language learning.
• Maintaining reports for future reference.
• Researching various teaching methods and materials while remaining flexible and adaptive to the client.

Desired Profile

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in the French language, French Literature, or a related field.
• Prior experience working as a French teacher or in a similar role in the educational field.
• You must have already been working for VIP or private employers in the past. This is a mandatory criterion.
• You must have significant experience as a French Teacher in both institutional organizations and in a private environment, especially for VIPs.
• Demonstrate excellent ability to converse in French (written, read, and spoken).
• Strong time management skills.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with an understanding that working for a private household is different from teaching a class of several students. The approach must be customized.
• Good analytical skills.

• You make people feel comfortable learning and spending time with you, avoiding stress.
• You are always on time and present well, with a real sense of human relations and communication.
• You have a Native level in French and an Advanced level in English (Written, Read & Spoken).
• You have a CLEAN CRIMINAL RECORD and are honest and trustworthy.

Salary: EUR 4000 - EUR 6000. To be defined depending on profiles (salary could be paid in AED, which would be the equivalent of the amount in euros).

Package: Included is private accommodation (to be shared with another female staff member), flight tickets to Dubai, working permits, and health insurance.
