Mathematics Teacher (Middle School)

• Salary Range: AED 16,000 - 21,000 per month (Tax-Free)

Job Overview

Who They're Looking For:

• Experienced mathematics teachers, primarily from UK, Ireland, Jamaica or South Africa, with a strong background in teaching middle school students in English.
• Candidates must possess relevant qualifications and demonstrate cultural sensitivity and adaptability.

Key Responsibilities:

Primary Duties:

• Teach Mathematics to Middle School students (Grades 6-9) in a bilingual setting.
• Implement a student-centered learning approach.
• Incorporate technology and innovative teaching methods.
• Contribute to a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Strong behaviour management.
• Teach students where English is not their first language.

Additional Duties:

• Participation in school events and activities.
• Potential for curriculum development.
• Participating in meetings as required.

Candidate Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a mathematics subject.
• Postgraduate certification in a mathematics subject.

Experience Required:

• 2 years of recent full-time classroom teaching experience in the medium of English (calculated from degree dates).

Preferred Skills:

• Strong behavior management skills.
• Experience teaching students where English is not their first language.
• Cultural sensitivity.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability.
• Previous international experience (desirable).
