Job Title: Science Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Science Teacher to join a reputable educational institution in Al Ain UAE. The ideal candidate will have the expertise to teach science disciplines: Biology, Chemistry, Physics to grades 6 to 9, inspiring students to appreciate and excel in the field of science. • Education:
  
  • Bachelor's degree in Science Education or a related field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics).
    
  • A recognized teaching qualification/certification/Teaching Diploma (e.g., PGCE, QTS or equivalent).
    
  • ADEK Appointment letter is preferred.
    
• Experience:
  
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching Grade 6 to Grade 9 students in school settings.
    
  • Experience teaching all science subjects.
    
  • Previous experience teaching in the UAE or GCC region is a plus.
    
• Skills:
  
  • Strong understanding of science curriculum and educational standards.
    
  • Proficiency in using digital tools for teaching (e.g., interactive whiteboards, online learning platforms).
    
  • Ability to foster student engagement and enthusiasm for learning.
    
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
    

• Lesson Planning and Instruction:
  
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging science lessons that align with the school curriculum.
    
  • Teach science subjects (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics) to grade 6 to grade 9 students.
    
  • Incorporate interactive and innovative teaching methods such as practical experiments, group discussions, and technology-enhanced learning tools.
    
• Student Assessment and Progress Monitoring:
  
  • Regularly assess and track student performance through assignments, quizzes, projects, and exams.
    
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to students, identifying areas for improvement.
    
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and conduct parent-teacher meetings as required.
    
• Classroom Management:
  
  • Foster a positive and respectful classroom environment conducive to learning.
    
  • Enforce school policies regarding behavior management, ensuring students follow classroom rules and guidelines.
    
  • Create a safe and engaging space for practical and theoretical learning.
    
• Curriculum Development and Innovation:
  
  • Collaborate with fellow science teachers to contribute to curriculum development and improvements.
    
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in science education to incorporate into lesson planning.
    
• Student Support:
  
  • Offer additional support to students who need help understanding challenging concepts.
    
  • Encourage student participation in science-related extracurricular activities such as science clubs, fairs, and competitions.
    
• Collaboration and Communication:
  
  • Work effectively with other teaching staff to ensure the smooth delivery of lessons.
    
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's academic performance and behavior.
