The Protocol Security Officer is responsible to provide the necessary acceptable level of protection to delegations and high profile VIPs by implementing and enforcing the necessary security measures, managing access control in coordination with Assistant Director of Safety and Security/ Director of Safety and Security. This role also required to liaise with the Head of Government Relations during visits of delegations/ high profile VIPs and official functions and events, ensuring all protocols are followed and maintaining a secure and safe environment for all attendees.
What will I be doing?
As a Protocol Security Officer, you are responsible for monitoring and controlling staff entrances, patrolling on a regular basis, and managing undesirable behaviour to deliver a safe Guest and Member experience. A Security Officer will also be required to investigate theft and support evacuation procedures. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
