Senior Officer- Security Monitoring Center

To oversee the security monitoring activity at FAB Global Command and Control Center - GCCC. To provide leadership and support to the security operations team in the event of a crisis situation that would threaten the safe and secure business operations.

Job Context:

Specific Accountabilities

1. Supervise Security Monitoring Analysts duties including planning, scheduling, organizing, directing and training personnel and ensure Global Command and Control Center / GCCC is operational all the time including network, hardware, etc.
2. Assist in development of physical security policy, standards, and procedures and design, and evaluate protection systems and devices to ensure that sensitive information, equipment, and other material are not compromised.
3. Carry out digital forensics using CCTV footage and access control logs.
4. Resolve operational & technical issues of GCCC and respond responsibly to any security and safety related incidents. Report the alerts triggered by the system to the concerned on a prescribed communication protocol and escalation matrix.
5. Maintain updated emergency response matrix (e.g., escalation matrix, all important phone numbers of guards, vendors, responsible staff to attend emergencies, police, etc.).
6. Oversee the design and operation of related compliance monitoring and improvement activities to ensure compliance both with internal security policies and applicable laws and regulations.
7. Monitor safety & security risk events and respond to life safety incidents (medical, safety, natural disasters, etc.) and dispatch security officers, ERT, facilities, police, fire and BMS personnel as required via telephone and/or radio.
8. Act as focal point for physical security investigations to prepare reports, recommend course of action and follow up on actions.
9. Handle branch police alarm custodian update and police disconnection requests.
10. Check the health of the DVR/NVR/VMS and hard disk daily to verify if previous recordings are done as per the bank policy and local authority requirement.
11. Check the network connectivity and the bandwidth traffic and report the noncompliance to IT Team.
12. Lead special projects related to GCCC in connecting different security systems to GCCC for centralized monitoring.
13. Supervise and maintain the day-to-day activities and MIS, KPI for Security monitoring center across the bank and discuss day-to-day issues with reporting manager.
14. Conduct surprise visits to ensure shredding is carried out as per SOP.
15. Any other responsibilities and projects which management may require performing from time to time.
16. Participate in the vendor performance meeting arranged by Regulatory Assurance (HSES) team.

Electronic Security - Cyber Security Controls

1. Assist in development of Cyber security framework for GCCC and lead the implementation of cyber security framework for GCCC and connected infrastructure.
2. Implement and maintain inventory of the GCCC & E Security assets in ITSM Servicenow mapping.
3. Maintain CMDB CI assets up to date for security systems.
4. Follow the ITSM Change management process for all major activities within GCCC & E Security assets.
5. Ensure all the CCTV servers (Access Control servers, Visitor management, time and attendance servers) are patched within patching cycle including UAT, PROD, API servers (both On-prem & Virtual Machines).
6. Ensure regular DB backups, VM snapshots, and application backups are in place.
7. Ensure Milestone AXIS, Hanwa, AMAG Controller, applications are up to date.
8. Ensure all assets are scanned with vulnerability assessment, baseline assessment on monthly/ADHOC basis.
9. Close all Jira observations as per the set SLA time.
10. Ensure all CCTV & ACS systems comply with bank Antivirus and DLP protection.
11. Ensure each camera password is set complex as per Milestone hardening.
12. Ensure server password is integrated with AD & PAM to have one-time password.
13. Ensure all recording drives are encrypted including external storages.

Electronic Security System - Break Fix & Maintenance:

1. Maintain the ERT Service Records reports, PPM Reports and conduct regular reviews to identify the root causes for repeated breakdowns.
2. Ensure all purchased materials (CCTV Cameras, Servers, Switches, storages, Access control panel, access control readers) are under manufacturer warranty and maintain record of it.
3. Ensure all Layouts and drawings are updated and approved from relevant regulators (MCC / SIRA, etc.).
4. Ensure CCTV Switches are purchased and tagged under FAB account.
5. Ensure CCTV system storages are configured with RAID.
6. Ensure the CCTV / ACS Firmware is updated.

Qualifications

Good knowledge of handling security & safety incidents.

Strong analytical skills: detail-oriented and ability to work with the team.

Strong Technical Skills on security systems, Cyber Security, IT networking & monitoring stations.

Must possess excellent oral and written English communication skills.

Should be collaborative, enterprising, knowledgeable, and adaptable.

3 years’ relevant experience in the Global Command and Control Center area with at least 3 years in similar positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities in the security monitoring operations function.
