Our client requires the services of a suitably qualified Financial Manager with a B.Com or similar, preferably with Pastel (or any other package) and advanced Excel. This person will be supported by bookkeepers as well as Creditors/Debtors clerks.

1. Reporting to Chief Financial Officer and CEO
2. Multi-company reporting
3. Intercompany loan accounts reconciliations
4. Reviewing agreements for financial implications and diarising same
5. Gathering and compilation of development information for financing applications
6. Liaising with Investec, Nedbank and Standard Bank in respect of financial queries
7. FICA of multiple entities
8. Updating and reporting on company’s financial exposure
9. Review and submit VAT recons to SARS for multiple entities
10. Liaise with SARS auditors regarding VAT refund audits
11. Provisional Tax review and submission
12. Income Tax planning & review and submission of multiple entities
13. Arrange and manage annual audits of multiple entities
14. Compiling audit file for auditors of multiple entities
15. Review Annual Financial Statements of multiple entities
16. Monthly review of general ledger, bank recons and VAT reports of multiple entities
17. Cash Flow forecast vs Actual reporting
18. Generating and reviewing of management accounts of multiple entities
19. Statutory Applications and reporting to CIPC
20. StatsSA submission of information related to various aspects of the business
21. Review and authorise all payments on Standard Bank Online, FNB and ABSA Internet Banking
22. Review Income and Expense reports for all development projects
23. Project Financial Management, Feasibilities and budgets
24. Creating monthly Debit Orders on Standard Bank EFTS system
25. Review, amend and create Standard Operating Procedures
26. Manage a small staff complement
27. Any ad hoc duties
