Job summary
An educational institution in Durban seeks a Quality Assurance Inspector to ensure compliance with quality standards in manufacturing. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, identifying non-conformance, and maintaining quality records. Ideal candidates should possess Grade 12, relevant qualifications or experience, and 3-5 years in manufacturing, preferably with knowledge in ISO 9001. This role promotes continuous improvement within the production environment.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems.
- Experience within Injection Moulding, Metal Pressing, Electrical or Electronic manufacturing is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Identify non-conformances and maintain quality records.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
