Commis Chef jobs in South Africa

We are looking for a Commis Chef to join our site in Stratford, working four days a week, Monday to Thursday only, 30 hours a week.

We are offering £14.50 per hour, paid monthly.

Working as part of a small team, you will be supporting the Chef Manager in daily food production.

Key skills required are:

• The ability to work as part of a team and be highly responsive to unit and client requirements.
• Able to work on your own or as part of a team.
• Good knowledge and implementation of allergen, food, health and safety legislation.

The role includes daily production of breakfast, lunch, salad bar, premium deli bar, and hospitality. You will be supporting the Chef Manager in daily food orders, preparation, stock controls, stock-taking, assisting with receiving and checking deliveries, and cleaning down the kitchen after each service.
