We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Fleet Controller to manage and coordinate the daily operations of company vehicles and drivers. The successful candidate will ensure optimal fleet utilisation, compliance, cost control, and timely service delivery.
- Plan, schedule, and monitor daily vehicle movements
- Track vehicles and ensure efficient route planning
- Manage driver schedules, attendance, and performance
- Ensure compliance with road traffic regulations and company policies
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance, servicing, and repairs
- Monitor fuel usage and control fleet-related costs
- Maintain accurate fleet records and reporting
- Handle breakdowns, incidents, and emergency situations
- Liaise with operations, logistics, and security teams
- Proven experience as a Fleet Controller or similar role
- Strong knowledge of vehicle tracking systems and logistics operations
- Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills
- Computer literacy (Excel, email, fleet management systems)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Relevant qualification in logistics or transport management
- Experience in security or high‑risk fleet>
- Knowledge of Durban routes and KZN region
