Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medical care to passengers and crew members in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Conduct routine medical examinations and screenings for passengers and crew members
- Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries, and prescribe appropriate medications
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients
- Collaborate with other medical professionals onboard, including nurses and paramedics, to ensure the best possible care for patients
- Monitor and maintain medical supplies and equipment onboard
- Participate in emergency drills and respond to medical emergencies as needed
- Educate passengers and crew members on health and safety practices while onboard
- Adhere to all safety and security protocols and regulations set by the company and relevant authorities
Qualifications and Skills:
- Medical degree from an accredited university
- Valid license to practice medicine
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Doctor, preferably in a maritime or remote setting
- Experience in emergency medicine and/or critical care is highly desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Flexibility to work long hours and be on call as needed
- Fluency in English (additional languages are an asset)
