Hospital Supply Chain

The Senior Logistics Specialist - Hospital Supply Chain is responsible for executing onsite medical supplies replenishment related activities. He/She performs operations in adherence to procedures, and the safe and efficient operations of goods and equipment.

He/she also coordinates the ordering, receiving, topping up, transaction documentation process, and performs the secure handling of goods. He also implements improvement opportunities within the off-site operations.

He/she may be required to work in rotating shifts. He/she is expected to be vigilant, decisive, and possess effective communication skills.

Business Administration Operations

1. Participate in value-based culture and a culture of accountability in the organisation
2. Adhere to organisation's governance, compliance issues and reporting processes
3. Adhere to organisation's data governance and protection processes
4. Work with allocated resources
5. Apply operational policies, standards and procedures
6. Perform basic risk assessment
7. Support the department in incident or crisis management initiatives

1. Perform continuous improvement activities
2. Perform documentation of business requirements
3. Perform identification of business requirements

1. Perform WSH activities to ensure personal compliance to requirements
2. Perform safety and health risk assessment
3. Report WSH incidents
4. Suggest WSH solutions to address localised shortcomings in existing processes

1. Work with team members to support technology projects
2. Apply latest technology to improve operations in own work areas
3. Operate technology or electronic tools and devices

1. Review operations quality issues in a timely manner
2. Coordinate arrangement of warehouse cargo and items
3. Perform security operations in adherence to plans
4. Coordinate cargo or material-handling security procedures
5. Perform stock control and housekeeping operations
6. Execute operations according to different situations and contingencies
7. Track cargo-handling schedules to ensure timelines are complied with
8. Execute measures to address operational shortfall, maintenance or repair needs
9. Apply methods and techniques to handle dangerous goods
10. Coordinate operations in accordance to 5S (sort, set, shine, standardise, sustain) techniques
11. Apply methods and techniques to handle time and temperature-sensitive cargo
12. Facilitate compliance of height, weight and special handling requirements in stacking, moving and arranging of items on pallets according to storage plan
