Overview
To ensure business continuity, the incumbent will be responsible for External Operations functions namely to plan, develop and execute Business Continuity Plans with the support of NUHS institutions (e.g., hospitals, polyclinics, respective Emergency Preparedness (EP) teams), and in collaboration with external stakeholders (e.g., MOH, government agencies, community partners) to handle the crises in the event of national/civil emergencies, disease outbreaks, etc.
For real time monitoring, control and response, the incumbent will need to develop the Concept of Operations which includes implementing operational cell groups to facilitate decision-making and coordinate resources and logistics to support the management of the incidents, such as the setting up of facilities & equipment, deployment of manpower to execute the SOP/workflows, and incident escalation & reporting to MOH/NUHS. The incumbent is also expected to formulate EP policies and incident response plans, with regular conduct of drills, table-top exercises and ground deployment exercises.
During peace time, the incumbent will be responsible for managing and overseeing day-to-day activities pertaining to resident enrolment and straggler management operations (enrolment and health plan), social prescribing, etc. in support of MOH Healthier SG, Age Well SG or other national/cluster-wide initiatives. The duties would also include engagements with partners in the community to drive improvements towards health/social outcomes of residents in western population.
As part of emergency and pandemic response planning, you are required to support Senior Assistant Director/Assistant Director in crisis response planning and operations.
