Senior Product Development Engineer

TOPPAN Next Tech is expanding its Security, Solutions and Services (SSS) division to enhance its business edge and pursue exciting opportunities in the market place:

• Multi Modal Biometrics (face, fingerprint, iris)

• Key Installation Protection (military bases, army camps, protected buildings, secured facilities)

• Vehicle Access Control (2FA, biometric authentication, vehicle barrier, digital I/O, relays, industrial automation)

• Personal Access Control (autogates, turnstiles, registration kiosks, biometric authentication)

• Border Management including Automated Gates/Kiosks

• Mobile Digital ID

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Product Development Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for the development and execution of product strategies to ensure our products meet customer needs and business objectives. You will collaborate cross-functionally with BD, engineering, marketing, Pre-Sales, and customer support to drive the lifecycle of products from concept through launch and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Strategy & Roadmap: Assist in the development and maintenance of the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and strategic goals.

2. Customer-Centric Development: Define product requirements based on customer feedback, market trends, and competitor analysis.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with BD, engineering, design, Pre-sales, and marketing teams to bring product features to market.

4. Product Launch: Lead the go-to-market strategy for new product launches and feature releases, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned.

5. Lifecycle Management: Manage the full product lifecycle, including prioritizing feature enhancements, bug fixes, and performance optimizations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor/Diploma in Engineering or related field

• 5 years or above of experience in product management or related fields (e.g., product marketing)

• Strong understanding of product development processes, agile methodologies

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and align teams and stakeholders

• Ability to analyze complex problems, think strategically, and make data-informed decisions

• Strong customer-centric mindset with experience conducting customer interviews, surveys, and usability testing

Desired Skills:

• Strong project management and organizational skills

• Experience in Product lifecycle - From ideation to product retirement planning

• Proficient in CAD drawing - Minimum intermediate skill on AutoCad 2D drawing and Solidworks 3D modeling

• Knowledge of Product Solutions

• Technical Documentation - Ability to create and maintain technical documentation for products and SDKs

• Experience in managing civil projects is a plus

• Familiarity with agile processes, sprint planning and iteration-based development is a plus
