Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate with customers to understand their health, medication, nutrition and lifestyle needs.
• Provide medication counselling to ensure safe and effective use of prescribed medicines.
• Conduct basic health screenings (e.g. blood pressure and blood sugar monitoring) to assist customers in managing their health.
• Offer recommendations on suitable health supplements based on customers’ needs.

Pharmacy Operations & Inventory Management:

• Assist in daily operation matters.
• Maintain and manage pharmacy stock to ensure product availability.
• Ensure accurate inventory records and reports.

Team Leadership and Customer Engagement:

• Train and guide new team members.
• Provide continuous coaching and support to ensure high customer service standards.
• Work closely with the retail manager, nutritionists and other team members to ensure smooth daily operations.

Compliance and Best Practices:

• Follow company guidelines to maintain a high standard of pharmacy practice.
• Ensure the pharmacy assistants adhere to Company operation standards.
• Maintain accurate prescription and poison book records.

Job Requirements:

• Possess at least a bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Pharmacy recognized by the Malaysia Pharmacy Board.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and team members.
• Demonstrated passion for contributing to society through initiatives such as corporate social responsibility projects, school talks or health promotions.
• Flexible working schedules and willing to work on weekends and public holidays.
