The Business Development and Partnerships teams at Shopee are dynamic and energetic. The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee’s buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.

Job Description:

• Monitor merchants' performance by Areas to ensure merchants are on par with ShopeeFood's current product promo/channel or campaigns.
• Work closely with merchants' account management.
• Observe and report competitor activities/programs in respective Areas and review their effectiveness/threat/opportunities towards Shopee.
• Propose Quick Win actions to maintain competitiveness within Areas.
• Explore green field areas within Areas for further expansion.
• Achieve sales targets for co-funding & campaigns, leading to revenue increase.
• Ensure Shopee's presence is visible within Areas managed.
• Identify high-potential accounts, converting them to Shopee merchants.

Requirements:

• Degree in any field, preferred but not limited to Business, Commerce, Marketing.
• Business Development experience in the FMCG and Telco industry would be an added advantage.
• Knowledgeable and passionate about e-commerce/digital payments.
• Effective presentation skills, backed by good business acumen.
• Enjoy challenges and remain flexible in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment.
• Proactively engage, influence, and collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Innovative problem-solving skills, able to dissect problems and implement solutions accordingly.
• Excellent command of English, with the ability to converse fluently in other languages (e.g., Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin) to communicate with merchants from diverse backgrounds.
• Open to flexible working arrangements during peak seasons/based on business needs.
