Are you a Senior / Principal Transport Planner looking to join one of the leading Engineering Consultancies in Yorkshire? You will be joining a company that is embarking on some hugely exciting Highways projects and who will offer you the chance to take your career to the next level. We are looking for someone at a senior level with experience in street/traffic engineering together with a solid understanding of transport assessments and travel plan reports.

Role: Senior Transport Planner aka Transport Planner, Civil Engineer, Principal Transport Planner, Transport Planning, Traffic Planning

Salary: £45k - £50k base salary + Car allowance

Location: Hybrid working is in place, Office is in West Yorkshire – commutable from Leeds, Huddersfield, Sheffield, Barnsley, Bradford, Doncaster, Rotherham

What you will bring to the table:

1. You are an experienced Transport Planner who is looking to step into a Principal role.
2. You will ideally have experience working in an Engineering Consultancy as a Transport Planner, working as part of a highways team.
3. Experience preparing transport assessments and travel plan reports.
4. You will have been heavily involved in transport scheme design guidance and advice including DMRB and MfS.
5. You will have experience of any of the following transport modelling packages such as ARCADY, PICADY, LINSING and TRICS, as well as AutoCAD and AutoTrack.
6. Any experience of SATURN or VISUM software would definitely be an advantage.
