Role: Transport Planner
Type: Full-time, Permanent, Hybrid.
Location: Old Street, London.

We're looking for a Transport Planner in Old Street, London!

This role relates to policy, strategy, development, business case, and economic appraisal.

One of the fastest-growing transportation consultancies, providing specialist transport planning, highways & traffic engineering, and surveying services to public and private sector clients, has rapidly expanded over the past few years to become a leader in the sector. They are a forward-thinking company that embraces innovation and change.

Based in Old Street, in a modern office, they are a circa 60 strong, dynamic team of experts that want to welcome you, a Transport Planner, to the team.

Responsibilities:
  1. Project Leadership: Lead and manage the implementation of Transport Strategy and Policy for local authority clients.
  2. Client Engagement: Serve as a point of contact for clients.
  3. Technical Excellence: Develop technically sound analyses for urban transport and public realm challenges, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  4. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively across disciplines, internally and externally, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
  5. Project Delivery: Adhere to project timelines, budgets, and resources.
  6. Quality Assurance: Ensure rigorous quality control on all project deliverables.

Desirable Experience:
  1. Working knowledge of the application of Transport Policy and Strategy as a Transport Planner or Transport Consultant in a Local Authority environment.
  2. Experience authoring Transport Infrastructure Business Cases and knowledge of Economic Appraisal methodology.
