For this role, we will consider both experienced Firefighters looking to transfer in or new recruits off the street with no experience. If you are experienced, we would look for a minimum of three years experience and full competency proved with evidence required to cross map your skills and competencies with the Defence framework. If an off the street recruit, you will be required to attend training Monday-Friday at the Fire Service College in Moreton in Marsh, for 14 weeks. All training costs will be covered, including accommodation and travel expenses.

About Defence Fire and Rescue
Capita is creating a world-class Fire and Rescue Service with the UK Ministry of Defence. We are transforming the future of firefighting within Defence with significant investment in technology, including the introduction of 128 state-of-the-art firefighting vehicles, and creating the conditions to provide Defence with a balanced approach to managing fire risk through an improved Prevention, Protection and Response strategy. We care about the safety of every firefighter, which is why we have invested in innovative training technology at our Fire Service College, providing state-of-the-art scenario-based training in a realistic training environment.
