Prospero Teaching are looking for a Cover Supervisor to join a school in Basingstoke, where you will be working with an experienced and supportive team, covering a range of subjects and classes on a full-time basis. This is a great opportunity for a Graduate or someone with experience working in an Education environment.

The school is a maintained community special school for pupils aged between 10 and 16 who have an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The school serves a wide range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC), Attention Deficit (Hyperactivity) Disorder (AD(H)D), Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), Opposition Defiance Disorder (ODD), and Attachment/Conduct disorders.

• Type of work: Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Cover
• Contract or position start date: ASAP
• Contract or position end date: Ongoing
• Contract type: Temp to Perm
• Minimum rate of pay: GBP120 a day
• Hours: 8:30 am –

• Degree (not essential but preferable)
• Minimum 1 year experience working with young people
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (we can offer this if not)
• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child-related references
