Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Primary School (KS2) - Oldham

Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or an ECT/NQT looking for an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience in a supportive primary school?

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic HLTA to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Oldham, working across Key Stage 2 (KS2) to support pupils and staff. This role is ideal for those looking to build their experience in a dynamic school setting.

Role Details:

Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - suitable for ECTs/NQTs

Location: Oldham

Start Date: Monday, 24th February 2024 (after February half-term)

Duration: Until the end of the academic year

Responsibilities:

1. Supporting teachers with PPA cover
2. Assisting in classrooms across multiple KS2 year groups
3. Providing general teaching support where required

About You:

1. Previous experience as a HLTA, Teaching Assistant, or a newly qualified teacher (ECT/NQT)
2. A passion for supporting children's learning and development
3. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to different year groups
4. A positive and proactive approach to working with pupils and staff
