Job description

Job Role: Primary HLTA - Bradford.

I am currently working with a Primary school in Bradford who are looking for an experienced HLTA confident in teaching across all primary ages.

Starting immediately, the school is looking for an outstanding HLTA to join them on a permanent basis.

This position will be to work with a range of learners across the whole school, delivering planned lessons to full classes.

The School:
Pupil Referral Unit - a small secondary school, of just 29 pupils, based on the outskirts of Skipton that provides high-quality education for young people who have been excluded, or are in danger of exclusion, from mainstream school.

What you will need:

1. Experience working as a HLTA.
2. Ability to build rapport quickly with learners.
3. Expert behaviour management and a range of techniques.
4. Experience working with learners with a range of Educational Needs.
5. These young people need consistency, and so you need to be able to commit to working for a long period of time.
6. Experience with secondary aged learners.
7. Experience supporting learners with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
8. HLTA qualification essential.
