Tempest Resourcing are recruiting Cover Supervisors to support the increasing demand in secondary schools across the area. We offer a variety of temporary support roles, including:

  1. Day-to-day cover
  2. Long-term positions
  3. Part-time & full-time opportunities

Tempest Resourcing are currently looking for experienced cover supervisors that are seeking work in secondary schools. We are working with a number of secondary schools and academies, who are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic cover supervisors with a strong behaviour background. If you have patience, a great sense of humour, and are dedicated on improving the lives of young people, this opportunity may be for you.

THE ROLE:

  1. Taking the lead in the absence of the teacher
  2. Conduct pre-planned lessons
  3. Encourage learning
  4. Managing the behaviour within the classroom
  5. Managing handover back to the teacher
  6. A background or degree in science, English, ESOL, or sports would be beneficial

CANDIDATES MUST HAVE:

  1. 6 Weeks experience working with children in the UK
  2. Excellent behaviour management skills
  3. A nurturing and caring nature
  4. Excellent communication skills
  5. DBS on update register or be willing to process a new application
  6. References for last 2 years work history
  7. Up to date CV
