This Electrical CAD Design Technician will report to the Design Lead / CAD Design Manager and will work within Engineering Design - Capital Programme & Procurement based in our Crawley office. You will be a permanent employee.
You will attract a salary of £65,241 and a bonus of 3%. This role can also offer blended working after probationary period (6 months) - 3 days in the office and 2 remote.

Job Purpose:
You will produce electrical and circuit drawings observing designs produced by Electrical and Civil Engineers, in compliance with company standard code of practice and European code of practice.
These schemes could be for APP or Connections (non-contestable and contestable) works.
The Electrical CAD Technician will collaborate with the Electrical designer, Civil designer and PDC, ensuring compliance to design, CDM and relevant standards for both the regulated network solutions for all customers.

Largely desk-based, the post also requires you to visit operational sites, construction sites, site meetings, manufacturers meetings (at their premises) and internal review meetings.
