Civil Engineering CAD Technician - Birmingham

Due to the continued growth of my client and their strong workload in the civil engineering team, they have the need for a Civil Infrastructure CAD Technician in their Birmingham office.

Job Description for Civil Engineering CAD Technician

1. Preparing drawings to support residential and commercial planning applications.
2. Preparing drawings to support s38, s104, and s278 applications.
3. Preparing engineering base plans to support the detailed design of residential sites.
4. Liaising directly with clients when necessary.

Requirements for Civil Engineering CAD Technician

1. Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD.
2. Excellent presentation skills and drawing set-up.
3. Previous experience of civil engineering.
4. Previous experience of roads and drainage within the residential sector.
5. Proactive & Self-motivated.
6. Able to work under pressure.
7. Adaptable to rapidly changing projects.
8. Proven ability to work well within teams and willingness to take accountability for own work.
9. Be able to liaise with clients in a professional manner.

Salary

£20k – £30k negotiable depending on experience.
