Attention all Civils CAD Technicians! Blueprint Recruitment is excited to offer a great new opportunity with one of our top clients. This role will consist of working on a variety of fantastic commercial and industrial projects. The successful candidate will work in a hybrid setup, attending the office in Manchester up to 3 days a week.

Our client is a well-established and trusted civil engineering consultancy, focusing on civil infrastructure, building design, residential and domestic projects, drainage modelling, and industrial work.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Create accurate and high-quality civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD and other software.
2. Assist in the preparation of detailed engineering designs for drainage systems.
3. Liaise with other engineers and clients to ensure designs meet project requirements.
4. Ensure that designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and legislation.
5. Support senior technicians and engineers in project delivery.

Key Requirements:

1. Will need proven experience of civil 3D, as you will be required to complete drainage drawings using this software.
2. Proven experience as a Civil CAD Technician, ideally within the civil engineering sector.
3. Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, especially in drainage design.
4. Experience working on infrastructure projects would be beneficial.
5. Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering, CAD, or related disciplines.
6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
