CAD Technician

Glasgow

First People Solutions is working with a successful Consulting Engineer in Glasgow who is looking for CAD Technicians to join their growing design team. Our client engages in a wide range of interesting and varied work within the domestic and commercial sectors, including building renovations, alterations, and housing development.

The Job:

1. Prepare and produce structural drawings and documents while assuring accuracy and quality
2. Liaise with engineers and designers

The ideal candidate will have strong design abilities, knowledge of current building regulations, and experience liaising with clients.

What we need from you:

1. 2 years of experience within a UK design engineering environment
2. HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent
3. Proven experience working on domestic projects
4. Proficiency with AutoCAD
5. Clean drivers' licence
