The Role:
A new opportunity has arisen for a driven and ambitious Key Account Manager to join an established and forward-thinking business. With over 70 years of industry expertise, this company is one of the top three in its market and is leading the environmental charge with cutting-edge R&D and future-proof offerings. As the Key Account Manager, you will focus on developing new business in a diverse range of sectors, including agriculture, leisure, manufacturing, and commercial. You will target 'off-grid' companies and those seeking greener alternatives to conventional fuel sources. The role involves 80% new business development across the regions of S, DN, WF, LS, HG, YO, HU, DL, TS, LN, DH, SR, and NE. The role is field-based, with at least four days per week spent meeting clients face-to-face, conducting site visits, phone and Teams calls, and email campaigns.
The Key Account Manager will also focus on growing existing accounts through proactive client development. You will work closely with the internal sales team for smaller accounts and sales admin, allowing you to focus on high-potential leads. This is a rewarding position, offering a highly competitive commission structure, completely within your control, and aimed at driving your success.
