Meril Life Sciences UK subsidiary is currently hiring for a Sales Manager to lead our Endo-Surgery vertical, focusing on Surgical Sutures and Staplers, Wound Closure, Endo Mechanical Wound Closure, Hemostats, and Biosurgery products.

Product Focus:

  • Absorbable and Non-Absorbable Sutures
  • Hernia Repair Solutions
  • Trocars
  • Skin Staplers

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Development: Support the learning and development of the sales team to enhance skills and drive performance.
  • Sales Generation: Coordinate with sales reps to generate leads and close sales to meet revenue targets.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop, implement, and evaluate sales strategies through comprehensive market analysis.
  • Sales Growth: Drive business growth by achieving budgeted sales objectives while adhering to organizational policies.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of senior executives, supporting their development and creating an environment of open, honest communication.
  • Action Planning: Review and discuss action plans with the sales team to ensure targets are met.
  • Promotional Activities: Create and implement promotional strategies, ensuring effective execution of marketing campaigns to achieve sales objectives.
  • Market Mapping: Map territory potential and track market trends, identifying competitor activities.
  • Key Relationships: Build long-term relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and Key Business Leaders, ensuring regular scientific engagement.
  • Customer Follow-up: Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns, collaborating with other departments for timely resolution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Life Sciences or Biotechnology.
  • 4 to 10 years of experience in medical device sales, specifically in surgical sutures.
  • Preferred therapeutic experience in Wound Closure, Hernia Solutions, Endo-mechanical Wound Closure, and Biosurgery.
  • Strong decision-making and financial management skills.
  • Fluency in regional language and intermediate English (written and verbal).
  • Willingness to travel as per business requirements, including occasional overnight stays.
