Senior Electrical Engineer - Facilities Engineering and Design, Oil and Gas (Calgary, Alberta)
The Senior Electrical Engineer will participate in the design of component parts and individual units among different aspects of industry projects, focused on servicing oil and gas projects from inception to completion. The role involves exercising cost control, reviewing and monitoring designs for conformance with control estimates and project specifications, and applying advanced engineering techniques and analyses to complex engineering tasks.
This position requires flexibility in meeting multiple job demands and assisting other team members on-site as needed. The ideal candidate will have relevant and progressive experience in facilities engineering and design in the oil and gas industry, combined with good interpersonal, teamwork, organizational, and communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Most importantly, they should be able to work within a multi-disciplinary team including process, mechanical, civil, structural, electrical, instrumentation, and piping engineers and designers, and handle operational pressures calmly.

Compensation: Commensurate to Candidate Experience
Reporting to the discipline lead, the senior engineer will participate in the design of different aspects of oil and gas projects from inception to completion. Our hiring client company provides solutions and applications to new asset developments and brownfield optimization projects across several industrial markets, including biofuels and produced water treatment to natural gas and petrochemical processing.
