The SAP Functional Analyst plays a critical role in optimizing and supporting SAP ECC Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) modules. This position works closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to implement effective supply chain and warehouse management solutions, drive continuous improvement, and support large-scale projects. The role also involves managing procure-to-pay processes, procurement workflows, article master data, and product catalogs, supporting both downstream oil and gas operations and retail business functions.

Responsibilities:
Functional Expertise

  • Serve as the primary SAP SCM/EWM specialist, focusing on warehouse structure, inbound/outbound processes, inventory management, RF integration, and yard management.
  • Provide expertise in procure-to-pay processes, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipt, and invoice verification.
  • Manage and enhance procurement workflows for seamless supply chain and warehouse operations.
  • Oversee article master data and product catalog management, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Customize SAP SCM/EWM solutions for downstream oil and gas operations, including bulk inventory handling, terminal management, and transportation logistics.
  • Support retail operations by optimizing supply chain processes, store replenishment, SKU-level tracking, and product catalog updates.

Solution Development

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and design SAP SCM/EWM solutions aligned with operational goals.
  • Develop and optimize procurement workflows while ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
  • Enhance product catalog processes for efficiency in updates, new product introductions, and inventory management integration.

Problem Resolution

  • Diagnose and resolve complex system issues related to SCM, EWM, procure-to-pay, article master data, and product catalogs.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to minimize business disruptions and ensure long-term solutions.

Documentation and Training

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and IT staff.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Develop strong relationships with supply chain, procurement, and IT teams to ensure alignment on priorities.
  • Partner with business teams across downstream oil and gas and retail operations to tailor SAP solutions to their needs.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Configure and enhance SAP ECC SCM/EWM modules, procure-to-pay functionalities, and product catalog integration.
  • Lead projects related to SCM/EWM, procurement, and product catalog management, including upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities within SAP ECC SCM/EWM.
  • Coordinate and execute testing for SCM/EWM module changes, procurement workflows, and product catalog updates.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience with SAP ECC SCM/EWM, including configuration and support of inbound/outbound logistics, inventory management, and warehouse automation.
  • SAP SCM/EWM or SAP S/4HANA Logistics certification is a plus.
  • Experience supporting supply chain operations for downstream oil and gas, including fuel inventory, terminal operations, and transportation logistics.
  • Experience with retail supply chain processes, including store replenishment and SKU management.
  • Proficiency in SAP SCM/EWM, MM (Materials Management), and procure-to-pay data structures, workflows, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with ABAP debugging and/or BI tools is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA SCM/EWM functionalities and integrations is highly beneficial.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
