Student Accounting Officer

Under the general direction of the Comptroller and with the guidance of the Director of Finance, the Student Accounting Officer will be primarily responsible for providing entry-level financial transactions in accounts receivable and payables, including issuing payment to suppliers in a timely manner.

This employment opportunity is being funded through the Government of Canada’s First Nations and Inuit Youth Employment Strategy – Summer Work Experience Program. Youth means persons aged 15 to 30. Eligible applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada, First Nations or Inuit secondary and post-secondary students. Registered as full-time students during the preceding academic year and intend to return to school on a full basis in the next academic year.
