Scheduling Coordinator jobs in United Arab Emirates

GRADE Refrigeration is an Industrial Refrigeration contractor operating in the MENA region. The Project Planner will dedicate himself to the best of his ability to improve the profitability of the Company and its affiliates. The Project Planner will be reporting to the Operations Manager.

Your tasks

1. Ensures that projects are completed within set deadlines, on budget, and in line with all the relevant safety standards and regulations.
2. Understanding the scope of the project.
3. Schedule the whole project at the beginning.
4. Producing visual aids to help explain the schedule of work.
5. Recognize interdependence parts of the project.
6. Identify the critical items at an early stage of the project.
7. Seek the best time and cost estimates as per all the information provided.
8. Modify and update the schedule when necessary.
9. Bring all contributors into the scheduling process for smooth project operation.
10. Coordinate activities in a structured manner for a successful outcome.
11. Must know how to determine the best ways to move materials, machinery and equipment between locations, and coordinate all the resources.
12. Follow and monitor the project schedule on a regular basis.
13. Developing detailed yet simple to understand schedules and graphs.
14. Include all contributors in the monitoring process for monitoring.
15. Plan general alternatives for each contingency. Take into consideration appraising projects, analyzing the logistics, and managing time.
16. Must always keep the goals and alternatives in mind.
17. Take early corrective action when needed.
18. Balance project effort.
19. Look for where effort can be reduced.
20. Must know how to consider the costs and possibilities of reducing them without compromising quality or safety of the project.
21. Must also provide immediate solutions to potential problems for efficient execution.
22. Regulates the communication and cooperation that adheres to safety and other requirements.
23. Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager.

Your profile

1. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
2. Minimum of 5 years related experience
3. Proficient with Primavera and familiar with the technology used in planning projects
4. Ability to read and understand mechanical plans
5. Excellent communication skills
6. Excellent problem solving skills for predicted and unexpected problems
7. Attention to detail
8. Flexible and calm under pressure within tight deadlines
9. Good numeracy skills
