VAM Systems is currently looking for Technical Consultant & Project Coordinator Cyber Security for our UAE operations with the following skillsets & terms and conditions:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on email security, firewall management, endpoint protection, and network security.
• Proven experience in project coordination and management.
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of various cybersecurity technologies and platforms (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, endpoint security software, email security gateways).
• Experience with security assessment and vulnerability analysis tools.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security) are preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Technical Consulting:
  • Provide expert-level consulting and support to clients on cybersecurity solutions including email security, firewall management, endpoint protection, and network security.
  • Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analysis, identify risks, and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity solutions based on client needs and industry best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cybersecurity infrastructure.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies.
  • Develop and deliver technical presentations and training to clients.
• Project Coordination:
  • Manage cybersecurity projects from initiation to completion, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate project activities with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Track project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and report on project status.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project documentation and ensure its accuracy and completeness.
• Other Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development of internal cybersecurity best practices and procedures.
  • Participate in presales activities including technical presentations and proposal development.
  • Mentor and train junior team members.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment on cybersecurity initiatives.
