Job Description:
To ensure the effective operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all electrical and instrumentation systems within the tissue paper manufacturing plant, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Electrical Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, including motors, drives, control panels, and distribution boards.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure quick resolution.
- Read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety codes and standards.
Instrumentation Duties:
- Calibrate and maintain sensors, transmitters, pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, and other field instruments.
- Monitor and troubleshoot PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers), SCADA, and DCS systems used in the manufacturing process.
- Maintain and configure control systems for tissue machines, converting lines, and utilities.
- Conduct regular checks and calibrations on process instrumentation for accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist in commissioning and start-up activities for new machines or modifications.
General Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and logbooks.
- Ensure timely reporting of breakdowns and maintenance activities.
- Assist in root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues.
- Support in inventory management for spare parts related to E&I.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Experience:
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in a tissue paper manufacturing plant or similar industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Hands-on experience with PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.), VFDs, and HMIs.
- Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with safety standards (e.g., Lockout-Tagout, arc flash protection).
