Overview of the Role
We are looking for a Technician with experience in Industrial Products to join our team at FAMCO. This role is responsible for servicing, overhauling, and troubleshooting Ingersoll Rand air compressors, air dryers, and related products. The position requires travel within the UAE and abroad, including onshore/offshore oil field platforms. Strong air compressor knowledge is a plus.

What You Will Do

• Perform service, troubleshooting, and overhauling of Ingersoll Rand pneumatic tools, hoists, winches, and air compressors.
• Ensure completion of service activities within sold labor hours while minimizing rework.
• Provide technical support and collaborate with the service team to maintain efficiency.
• Work on-site at customer locations, fieldwork assignments, and project installations.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction and adhere to service quality standards.
• Prepare detailed service reports with a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
• Contribute to achieving service revenue targets and operational goals.

Desired Candidate Profile

Required Skills to Be Successful

• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting, servicing, and overhauling industrial air compressors and dryers.
• Proficiency in mechanical aspects of pneumatic tools and air winches.
• Ability to work independently in on-site, field, and offshore environments.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, ensuring seamless coordination with the service team.
• Good English communication skills for report writing and customer interactions.
• Proactive approach with a customer-service mindset to enhance satisfaction and service quality.
• UAE driving license is an advantage.

What Equips You for the Role

• ITI/Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
• 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience with a reputable dealer, distributor, or service organization.
• Strong technical expertise in industrial products, including air compressors, air dryers, and air winches.
• Self-motivated, with a strong ability to take initiative and solve problems independently.
