Job summary
A leading HVAC company is seeking a Technician based in Abu Dhabi. The Technician will be responsible for the service and maintenance of HVAC systems, focusing on centrifugal chillers and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate should possess a diploma in Mechanical Engineering, extensive technical knowledge on HVAC systems, and strong English communication skills. This role involves coordinating with subcontractors and managing multiple priorities effectively within critical infrastructures.
Responsibilities
- Execute service and maintenance in line with company best practices.
- Carry out operation service maintenance on HVAC systems.
- Coordinate with subcontractors for HVAC works at site.
- Conduct planning and scheduling for uniform service execution.
- Attend critical infrastructures and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Identify business growth opportunities and service delivery improvements.
Skills
Education
The Technician will be reporting directly to the Field Line Manager and will be based in Abu Dhabi.
As part of the HVAC Aftermarket team you will carry our Centrifugal chiller operation & service repair and carry out preventative including cooling tower pumps SCADA system Etc.
The key role of a Technician shall be:
- Day-to-day execution of the Service and Maintenance in line with Company Best Practices.
- Carry out operation service maintenance on HVAC systems used for comfort and energy efficiency across large size project comprising Hospital Retail & Commercial Buildings.
- Coordination with Subcontractors to get the job done for HVAC related works at site
- Conduct planning scheduling directing monitoring controlling for uniform service execution.
- Attend critical infrastructures and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Identifying business growth opportunities and service delivery improvements.
As technician you will use your HVAC technical knowledge to execute site operation and maintenance carry out full dilapidation reports inspecting all refrigeration HVAC related components and recommending system enhancements upgrades and replacements as necessary.
You will understand the customer requirements and support the technical team in carrying out the required technical services and repair for HVAC systems. Youre determined and consistent in your approach to work managing multiple priorities simultaneously because of your excellent planning and time management skills.
- Knowledge in operation & maintenance of centrifugal chillers cooling tower pumps & Scada system etc.
- Technical knowledge on HVAC systems mostly on Chillers Brazing Vacuum Pressure Test
- Ability to read and understand electrical single line diagrams of HVAC systems
- Experience in handling reports & communications in a concise way.
- Fluent language skills in English
- Diploma in Mechanical or 2 years Air conditions and refrigeration vocational course certificate
- Experienced in Operation and maintenance of York / Carrier / Daikin/ Trane centrifugal chillers DCP.
