Job summary
A prominent wellness retailer in Cape Town is seeking a professional team member to enhance the customer shopping experience. This role requires greeting customers warmly, ensuring accurate stock management, and effective cash handling. Candidates should have a minimum of Grade 12 and a genuine passion for health and wellness. Responsibilities
- Greet, smile, and acknowledge customers.
- Know the layout of the store to direct customers.
- Ensure accurate stock counts and product expiry checks.
Skills
Education
- Be professional
- Greet, smile and acknowledge customers
- Know layout of store to direct customers to products
- Opening & closing procedures are followed
- To ensure all merchandising principles are in place at all times and that every item is ticketed
- Ensure accurate receiving and checking of all store deliveries as per store manual
- Ensure accurate stock counts & checking of product expiry dates
- Cash handling - assist at point of sale and with cash ups
- Grade 12
- Minimum 2 years retail experience would be advantageous
- A genuine interest in health and wellness - brand ambassadors
- Basic computer literacy
- Very good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability and willingness to work weekends and extended retail hours
