Senior Customer Project Manager - 0093UA

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Senior Customer Project Manager to manage the portfolio of a large datacenter for an international customer, handling projects with high complexity and risk.

The successful candidate MUST have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in leading a multi-country, multi-cultural project team to ensure customer satisfaction and financial performance. They will be required to manage relationships with customers and stakeholders, ensuring project execution aligns with the contract.

1. Organize and manage the project team and suppliers, monitoring progress in line with the project plan.
2. Ensure effective team communication and motivation.
3. Manage project contracts, ensuring Schneider Electric's obligations and rights are fulfilled.
4. Recover customer receivables with support from shared functions.
5. Monitor, control, and report project execution status and KPIs.
6. Inform management about project events impacting performance or compliance.
7. Assess and manage risks and opportunities, including claims and variation orders.
8. Drive customer relationships, ensuring high satisfaction levels.
9. Take accountability for project quality and profitability, including forecasting and revenue recognition.
10. Ensure compliance with Schneider Electric processes, ethics, and quality instructions.
11. Handle project transfer from sales to execution phases.
12. Organize project supply chain and resource availability.
13. Contribute to the PM Community of Practice, sharing lessons learned and best practices.

Qualifications

1. Advanced Diploma or Diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or a related field.
2. Relevant bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant field is required.
3. PMP Certification or PRINCE 2 is mandatory.
4. Master’s degree is not mandatory but a distinct advantage.
5. Minimum 5 years in customer project management in the energy business.
6. Strong technical background in SADA, energy management solutions or electrical networks.
7. Experience in the following segments: Data Center, Smart Building, Utility & Transport.
8. Strong communication skills in a cross-cultural environment.
9. Capacity to drive and lead remote teams.
10. Strong technical competencies in energy management and Schneider Electric solutions.
11. Proven leadership skills in project contexts.
12. Ability to understand, influence, and convince in a complex matrix organization.
13. Creative problem solver, fostering cooperation.
14. Advanced competencies in project controlling, scope management, and claim management.
