The position will offer exposure across our 1) private credit strategies, which include distressed, special situations and performing credit investing, 2) sustainable resource investing, which includes renewable energy, infrastructure and investment grade debt, and 3) asset backed financing, which includes private and public securitised structures. The role will include both private equity style and credit focused due diligence and analysis.
Analysts/Associates are generalists and participate in all aspects of projects and can expect to work on a number of assignments at one time. Due to the relatively small size of the professional staff, deal teams are typically small. Analysts/Associates are therefore expected to assume important and integral roles in the screening, analysing and structuring of investment opportunities, as well as regularly attend client and internal meetings, negotiations, and due diligence sessions.
Typically, work will include private-equity style due diligence and financial analysis, modelling, research, competitive analysis and benchmarking, development of presentations, assistance in the execution of transactions, and drafting of investment memoranda. As well as being involved in specific investment processes, candidates will help lead individual research projects, focused on either specific industries or companies.
