Assistant Investment Analyst

The Company:

Beyond Wealth Management Pte Ltd was founded in 2022 as a licensed financial adviser, licensed fund manager and exempt insurance broker. Members of the company came with more than 20 years of experience in the industry.

We provide financial advice, investment advice and manage the assets of the mass affluent, high net worth individual. We also advise corporate on their employee benefits and group insurance.

The Candidate:

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to work closely with the investment manager for generating investment ideas, conduct research, implementing trades and monitoring investment portfolio.

The position is opened to fresh graduates and those who are looking for an entry level of investment research career.

Key Responsibilities:

Investment Support

• Conduct in-depth fundamental research on companies and industries
• Build and maintain financial and valuation models
• Research and compile industrial statistics

Operational Support

• Maintain the book of our investment holdings,
• Analyze and monitor performance attributes for our investment portfolios,
• Manage trade orders,
• Prepare investment reports,
• Liaise with clients on investment matters.

Key Competencies:

Technical & Analytical Skills

• Strong knowledge of financial modelling, valuation methods (DCF, P/E, EV/EBITDA),
• Proficiency in accounting principles and understanding of financial statements,
• Ability to analyze macroeconomic factors, market trends, and risk assessments,
• High proficiency in excel applications.

Soft Skills

• Critical thinking & problem-solving – Ability to interpret complex financial data,
• Attention to detail – Ensuring accuracy in financial models and reports,
• Communication skills – Writing reports, presenting investment recommendations, and explaining findings to clients or investment manager,
• Time management & multitasking – Working under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualification:

• A bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, Business or related fields,
• Relevant experience in making research reports and data analysis is an advantage.
